I was given a task or I should say an opportunity by a fibromyalgia group that I belong to. We are all to blog what our ock bottoms have been. So I sat and pondered as to what mine would be. My symptoms of fibromyalgia had started about a year before I got diagnosed I just thought I was tired due to having tanner who was 3 and a handful and my body hurt but I just thought it was because I was trying to do a business with my friend as well. But it started to get to where my. Clothes hurt to wear so I finally went to the dr. He diagnosed me, but he said I need a diagnosis from a rhumatologist in order to have insurance recognize it as a disease. But what they don't tell you is.....how much your skin will hurt or how it hurts to have your sons hug you. They don't tell you that you wake up in the middle of the night in the worst pain that you are in tears when you wake up. They don't fell you how tired you are and how most of your life will be lived in on your couch or in your bed. They don't tell you that people don't have empathy for you and friends and family will act as if it's not there. But it's there its alive and real I wish it wasnt. But I try to look at it as I know the lord won't give me more than I can handle

New phone

Sean got me a new phone! So now I have no excuse to not update my blog or my Facebook. Heck I'm doing this little blurp from my hospital bed.
I am now the new mom to an I phone!
As for an update I sit in the hospital I've had my appendix taken out. They found a
tumor in them. It was cancerous. I am lucky enough to not need any chemotherapy or radiation right now just a follow up body scan.

What a journey indeed. We have been on one of the most spiritual journeys of our lives. When Sean and I got married he was simply a convert to the church. He had fallen away and wasn't too hip on going back. So he started going back for the kids. With that he started asking more questions. We started having family scriptures before bed with the kids as well as family prayer. As we got into the scriptures we started doing our own scripture time as well as what we do with the kids. I have been able to see his spirit and his testimony grow right before my eyes. Going through the temple with him yesterday was so amazing. He is such a strong priesthood holder and seeing him as he has changed has been awesome. 4 years ago I didn't see us where we are I would have doubted anyone that said he would be going through the temple. He is such an awesome blessing to me!!!

I think I have spent more time in the hospital and doctors offices in the past few months than I ever have. The last stay I was supposed to be in for an out patient ordeal and I was in recovery and had a 12 minute seizure and than 20 min later I had a 8 mi seizure which led me to being admitted to the hospital. While I was in there my blood pressure was really low it's been low for the past few months the last few dr's appointments they haven't been able to read my blood pressure. So in the hospital it got really low they were afraid of me stroking so they had to figure it out. Meanwhile I had another seizure in the bathroom and stopped breathing it gets scarier everytime. After a few days they figured out I have a disease called attisons.. just one more to add to my list so now I have asthma, fibromyalgia, crohns, and attisons. Such a huge hump to deal with considering I just got my crohns diagnosis a few weeks before all this happened. I am thankful my family was there for me.. I'm sad to know that people that are friends that were like family aren't there .

We too the kids to the renissance festival to spend a warm and lovely presidents day with them. We were supposed to go with the Furgeson family but Marva ended up coming down with the yucky head cold so they stayed home, Rylle was super bummed to not spend the day with gavin but angel was there.. He loves to hang out with her. So his spirits lifted fast.we watched a really cool birds of prey show then they went through a petting zoo. The boys visited with the Queen on our way to the joust. The Joust was their favorite. It was to the death!!!!! There was fake blood spewing everywhere they loved it. as thier souvenir they picked out wooden wands just like what harry potter has! So in the car ride home they were working on their spells. Considering it took us 45 min to get OUT of the parking lot and we live 8 min away

1st grade concert

The 1st graders put on a little cowboy concert for their parents. It was soo cute. they stated facts about all the mid west. Their little voices are soo cute. I just don't want Tanner to grow up!! He can stop NOW~~ So I had chuckles on my lap the entire time so Shelby was my great photographer!! I think she did a great job!

So much has gone on since Oct with my last post. so Here's a post about our gingerbread house from Christmas I know kind of late but we did do one! Also Tanner got to be Star of the week in his class he got to make or I got to make a poster all about him. He was happy to brag all about his pets and his grandmas and papa's. He's always a star to me! We also had Rylle's BIG Christmas band concert his very 1st one!! He plays with the 6ht grade band and he's in 5th grade he really shines at playing the drums!!! Than the kids got their letters from santa. As usual Santa "broke" in left their letters on their bed and left magic dust with boot prints all over the house! Tanner swore their was reindeer poop outside! lol! That's one of my favorite parts of Christmas! So now I think we are all caught up! It's Jan and we had an addition to our family his name is Bruno he's 6 months old and chews through everything but he's cute and plays a mean game of fetch!

We went over to my moms house on wed. Sitting on her pool table was this cute stuffed animal. Well Tanner asked grandma if he could have it. She said it belonged to someone else and she was borrowing it. He let the room and I followed him. He stood over by the water cooler crying. I asked him what was wrong and he told me I just love penguins mom. SO I told him we could go to Target or to Walmart the next day to see if we could find one. Luckily my mom called and said it was his her friend gave it up. SO he slept with it and carried it around all morning, he even wanted to take it to school. Thanks mom!

This past weekend I did a trade for some redesign help.. I had an area in my living room that's just dead space. Lisa came and gave em some good ideas as well as re-arranged my kitchen cabinet tops. All the redesigning made me look at the window in the new "sitting" area and decide it needs some new curtains. Goodwill here I come. I got the set of curtains for 6 bucks you can't beat that!!!

Sean left for Montana this afternoon. he won't be returning until Friday. I can honestly say I've never been so upset by my husband leaving. In a past life I used to look forward to the week alone I would get. I have never cried so much. I cried on the way to the airport, on the way home and most of the afternoon. I don't know why I bothered to put makeup on today.

We went back to school clothes shopping today.. How is it Tanner is wearing a 7 and Rylle a 10/12?? Where are my babies?!?! Tanner is soo excited and Rylle is like any other 10 year old not wanting to go back. I don't know what I'll do with my days with them gone! Tomorrow we are off to Target to get the "gear" They have crayons, pencils, markers, colored pencils etc for .30!! Yes folks that's 30 cents. Now we are just waiting for my parents to come over for dinner. Green chile chicken casserole!

We made it into Montana.. our flight was early and Seans dad was there! We picked up his mom and his cousin that's 12. So the kids are having a ball..we got in late slept in late. Now Tanner and Jessica and Seans mom are hangin around the house. Sean and rylle and Sean's dad went up to "Medicine" lake to take pictures..The weather is GEORGOUS!!! I just ditched my hoodie and it's 12:30. We went from 113 weather to the 80's it's great!!!

YOu can't say this isn't cute!! This is Tanners little comfort zone. He went from dragging around a nite nite. To sleeping with a HOARD of animals. He looks to them for good dreams and protection. He even packs one or two when he sleeps over at grandmas house. When we went to Flag he forgot an animal. We searched high and low and FINALLY found a 10.00 small mmonkey at claires. We had to get the monkey otherwise he would end up in bed with sean and I.

Thus far our summer has been soo uneventful. The kids are here on a daily basis ( yay ) So we've seen ALOT of movies and have spent ALOT of time by the pool. The kids are making the countdown to Montana. I asked the kids what if we can't go to Montana this year? Tanner informed me with hands on his hips " Grandma and Papa will be soooo mad at you!!!!" So needless to say we are still going. We would never ever take that away from them. I'm just counting down the days when we can send them off by themselves and meet them there later in the week!!!

See this cute kid... well he will be in a "special" 1st grade class. I got a letter from the principal on his last day of Kindergarten. It says that he will be one of 6 advanced students that will be with this teacher. He will be with such a small class so that the teacher can better meet their needs. I am soo proud of him. His ar for the end of the year has him reading at a 3rd grade level. He has spent a few hours a week with the first grade class this year. He is soo smart and can spell like no other. I'm very proud of my kids

Well I spent Sat all by myself. Sean had to work the NRA event in Phx. So I was enjoying my day no kids no hubby just me and monkey. Anyhoo... I decided that I needed to get out of the house, now mind you that I managed to finish all my curtains!!! So I decided to take a run to goodwill. You never know what kind of treasure that you will find. Well needless to say I found some cool crap and only spent 6 bucks!!!! That's my kind of price for nick naks!!!

I Finally Finished and PUT up my new curtains that i made. I am soo proud of how they turned out. I've never sewn before and I was shocked I managed to do it without a pattern and Per Michelle I couldn't use stitch witch I had to pin everything down. So I did just that. For the next set I will be using stitch witch it would make it go sooo much faster!!!

Oh the Flu

I've had the flu for almost a week...Than Tanner comes home on Wed running a temp and guess what!!! He has the flu too..He was lucky enough to have had a flu shot so it hasn't been quite so bad on him. But I did not. So I've had the full blown lovely flu. I have to say thanks to my mom for the food and for getting Rylle on Thurs. that was such a huge help as were the snacks!!!

I have to say thanks mom for giving me great teeth. I've had the WORST toothache today and i need a rootcanal on the back tooth. So needless to day I will be getting it done tomorrow since they couldn't fit me in today. There's not enough ibprofen or percocet out there to numb the pain.

Ok I was feeling better yesterday!!! So I decided screw this liquid diet thing lipton noodles sounded so good. So I made some ate it and it tasted so good. But not more than 20 min later I was hugging the toilet and the noodles were back up! So I learned my lesson that I won't go off this stupid diet till I see the Dr next week. I can say chicken soup for breakfast isn't the greatest!!

I swear I thought I was dying. I caught whatever crap was going around... ran a fever of 104 for 3 days. Its hard for me to get over being sick. thanks to the fibro I'm stuck getting sicker easier and staying sicker longer. it's taken 2 rounds of different antibiotics to kick this crap. I have to say thanks to boo for giving this to me!! Although I got homemade chicken soup and rolls out of it!! I have been on basically a liquid diet for 2 weeks and I have 1 more week to go. Since whatever this crap is that I caught it killed whatever was left of my anti bodies and my stomach goes with that. So I get put on a great liquid diet to give my tummy a rest so I can take antibiotics. So mom your soup was just what the dr ordered. I've eaten all of it myself

Well I must say we've had a few trying weeks. Everytime the kids have come home they have been sick. So we've been to the Dr alot. We've passed around strep had a few ear infections and runny noses and coughs. Well last wed at school a kid tackles Tanner. Well in the process of this tackle, Tanner rolled his ankle as he went down. The poor kid.. his ankle and foot were black and swollen ( the blue has just set in) so I get him to the dr. Now mind you we didn't get into the dr until Thurs morning. So tanner was kneeling on a blanket and dragging himself around the house. ( since he couldn't walk on his foot) So I had to carry him into the Dr and to the xray which is in a different building. Needless to say he's 48 lbs and too heavy for his mom to carry. We got his foot and ankle xrayd and found out it's nothing but a bad sprain. All I can say is I'm ready for everyone to be well...

Report Cards

We got report cards this past week. Rylle is FINALLY ungrounded. The poor kid has been grounded from all video games since Dec. He brought his grades up and is a B+ student ( that's not suffice for me) but he's trying. tanner is ABOVE average again. He's the top student in his class and spends half a day in a 1st grade class. They have made me proud and I guess I owe them a new video game...

Ok so it's been a while since I blogged but I must say things have been kind of boring as of late. I just celebrated my big 31 and I swore I would never get this old!!!! I loved all of my gifts... My parents gave me 50.00 Seans parents gave me a 50.00 gift card to Kohls. I swear they heard me whining about needing new shorts... My brother and Meghan gave me 30.00 and my sister and cecilia gave me a 25.00 gift card to barnes and noble that's one of my favorite store!!! My hubby gave me some philosophy stuff (the picture above its the best foundation primer ever!!!) and bath and body works!!! I appreciate everything everyone gave me and for the meal my mom made and the pumpkin pie!!! Oohh that was the best part

Mothers that are hurting...

I have a friend who has a 4 month old baby girl. Her husband left her on Mon and she came to stay with me. Well little did I know she didn't come to "stay" she came to try to use me as an alibi for a guy she met 5 days ago. She has been sounding not herself the past few days. I am so worried about her. She was the type of mom that wouldn't let me stand up and hold her baby. I had to stay sitting she was afraid that I might drop her. Well when she left she left her baby too. Which was hard to see. Her mom and husband found out that she has been cheating on him. I didn't know anything had happened until Mon. I am talking with her mom and come to find out she had been lying to everyone about everything. Her mom had a stroke about 6 months ago. she's a LD nurse. She's also going to school to finish her PHD. So her mom isn't a dumb one. I know that my friend has been raised in the church and she has been astray from it for a while. I know can see how my mom was hurting when my divorce and everything went down. I even called my mom to apologize for the way that I've acted in the past. I am really reflecting on things just listening to her mom and seeing the hurt that she's going through. I know that her family will be ok and even though everything that is happening she is blaming on me.... I think we can be ok. I want everyone to know that I learned from what mistakes I have made in the past. My testimony is stronger than it EVER has been...

So on Mon I took the kids to see the dentist. Typical routine cleaning and crap. Well I have to say this is probably the FIRST visit where Rylle has had NO cavities nor any MAJOR work that needs to be done!!! he does need to get the retainer behind his front teeth but that's it. IT also looks like he doesn't need any braces!!! YAY!!!

Training wheels are for babies...

WEll today Sean and Tanner went to the park in all hopes of riding with no training wheels. I must say that he learns things fast. Sean showed him how to break and what to watch out for. That gave Tanner the strenght and courage to ride on his own with powerful love behind him and not a single degrading word was spoken. When they were done Tanner came in and told me that he's not my baby anymore he can ride like the big guys do :( that made me happy for him and sad for me all at the same time. This opportunity gave Sean a chance to really shine as a dad. and boy did they both shine!!!

So I must say the past few times I've been to my mom's I have been quite jealous of her cute valentine table.. so I thought you know i can start my own. I had an issue with the gems on the center of my flower I put together.. mind you each gem is flat on one side and a pain in the a to deal with. Well long story short Tanner knocked the plate that I had them separated out on. It took me all afternoon to gather them all and re seperate them by color. So now I'm working on my v-day blocks to add to it.

Ok I got all "Martha Stewart" in my house on Mon. I decided to make some slow cooked ribs in the oven as well as try my hand at some fried green beans with wasabi ranch to dip them in. I must say it turned out soooo yummy... I am quite proud of myself.. and I made my own batter for them as well as my own BBQ sauce for the ribs.... So the picture is the final product

New Years

So I finally got our new years pictures uploaded to the computer. I must say we spent a fun night at the Hovis's . There were kids galore and we just had a good time. Tanner managed to make funny faces with Steve who is more on the serious side and then Tanner proceeded to take a picture of it.. We thought it was too funny. Anyhoo we stayed there until 11 and got home just before midnight and wished each other a happy new year. We all slept in until well after 12 the next day.

I must say I am full of gratitude.. Kelsea came by yesterday and helped me with the kids. I have felt like crap the past week and everyday seems to get worse. Little did I know that I threw up last night. I guess I got up and threw up all over the bathroom and my sweet hubby cleaned it up. He's so awesome. SO needless to say I've been kind of stuck to my bed and Kelsea came by and kept me and the boys company she's soo awesome and we are soo happy she's family. My mom made us dinner tonight and I must say.. she has the best cooking. NUMMERS!!! I know Sean loves the fact that she has taught me to cook. I just want to say thanks for the service that ahs been given to us.

Santa

Last Sat we headed out to dinner and to finish the last of the Christmas shopping for Seans family. Since ALL of them live out of state we had to get gifts mailed but Mon. Anyhoo... we get home from shopping and in by our light on the buffet there were 2 notes from santa. The boys were convinced that Santa had broke in. Santa left their notes cover in MAGIC dust!!!! I love the Christmas spirit. They looked so excited. So we went in their rooms and read their notes aloud. They were super pumped for CHristmas.. heck they had an eairlier visit than most kids get. We made reindeer food for them to take to their dads and they made one for their sister too. We left the rest of the reindeer food out on the front porch on Christmas morning. Needless to say it was raining and the reindeer food was scattered all over the front porch and then to top it off... santa left white boot marks in the entry and on the carpet. The boys love this. I don't want them to realize that mom did this... I love just seeing what their faces look like with all the fun and surprises.

Takin a Hike!!!

The Sat before Christmas Rylle and Sean went for a BIG hike to the wind cave. It's a 3 mile hike both ways. They had tried to takle it a few weeks earlier but they had Tanner who wasn't so happy about hiking all the way up. So the morning of the big hike Sean and Rylle got up at 7 on a Sat and Packed some snacks and took their water bottles and headed off. Rylle sent me a text message when they reached the top. He had soo much fun. Seans planning a surprise hike on Sat.

Gingerbread.....

We had a night of Gingerbread house making. Sean and Mitchell had never done this and neither have the boys. So Kelsea and I planned a family night of fun. We first got into our jammies to put together the Gingerbread Houses. After we were done we had hot chocolate with uber lots of mallows and watched the Polar Express. The boys camped out on the floor as we watched it as well as Mitchell and Kelsea. So once it was over we put the boys in their beds and Kelsea and Mitchell stayed the night. The boys had more fun that night!!!

Well I get a call from my mom this morning telling me how she doesn't know what's going on since I haven't blogged in a a few weeks. WEll here's the poop on what's been happening. My bff Michelle aka my sister is still pregnant. I have spent the past 2 weeks shopping with her so she could get her Christmas shopping done as well as keep the contractions going. She got her membranes stripped and still nothing. SO we wait.. but in the mean time I got ALL my Christmas shopping done!!!! The first time in a few years it was done before Christmas Eve. I"ve managed to fit everyone in for hair and get my house some hwat in order. That's a feat unto it's self. Since Sean and the boys tend to just leave things when they are done with them. So I'm just getting on top of laundry and I have managed to lose 10 lbs in the past 2 weeks. I think with all the walking that I've been doing with Michelle. So that's what's been going on here. The kids are ready for winter break and they are excited to make reindeer food and gingerbread houses and watch Polar Express. All I can say is that I'm twice as busy now than I was when I was working!!

Stay at home

Ok this is my first week back as a stay at home mom and I must say I forgot how much I loved being at home. I have been able to catch up on all my laundry and start my Christmas shopping. I love just being able to pick up my boys from school and drop them off at school in the morning. I love being able to sit at home with my hubby as he's working. I feel like I haven't seen any of them or at least spent the time with them that I needed to. It seems that all I ever did was work. I gave up soo much of my time with my family all for a job. I know I will never do that again.

A Blessing In Disguise

On Thurs my boss came to me and said that he needed to talk to me in my office. I figured he was wanting to know the details about a tenant who was canceling their service with us. But was I ever wrong.... he fired me!!! Or as my mom said they just let me go. I figured I was the back bone to the tenants and the business. But I guess I was wrong. He told me that they would pay me for the rest of the week and pay me the 5 vacation days that he gave me in my review the week before. So I packed up my desk and bolted ou tof there with tears flowing down my face. The thing that gets me is that he told me at my 3 year review in April I would be receiving a raise. HAHAHAHA well I came home spent the past few days crying and the whole woe is me. BUt Sean and I have both talked about it and we have been praying about a way that I can spend more time at home and look at what has happened. So it looks like now I am going to be a stay at home mom again. Oh the clincher to the story is.. I had over 100 vacation hours saved up. So I sent my boss an email telling him that I want those hours paid on my last paycheck. Hahahahaha so who got the last laugh!!!

Closed Minds

Well here's how the story goes, there's a guy in one of my buildings. He claims that he's fallen away from the church but he still wears his garments. So we got to talking today about the prop 8 and he asked me if I voted for it. I said no I voted against it. I said I come from a family where I have plenty of gay relatives and I think that they deserve to have the same family rights as we do. Well he went on to tell me that my opinion is wrong with the church and I"m going against the church. I said I believe that we are given choice and accountability for a reason. I know they may not choose to be gay, but there is still accountability that they will have to face. I said my mom raised me to be open minded and not to worry about what will happen to others when they face god. I know I only worry about myself and my family.
He then went on to tell me how they didn't have a "vision" to allow the blacks into the church. He was telling me that the government was hounding the church and saying they would take away tax credits from BYU if we didn't allow the blacks in. I told him that we don't know what really came about. WE weren't in with the first presidency when they were praying about it.
Needless to say he's always trying to get me to read anti-mormon literature. I told him I would read it the day he quit being a hypocrite and quit wearing his garments. I told him that I've had a pretty shitty life and as he said "why would god make someone gay if it's against his will" and my reply was " I've had a pretty crappy life. I could have many times said God why did you give me sooo many burdens and hardships. But I didn't I grew from them and I learned and my faith is increased ten fold" With that he shut up and walked away. As for me I think he's a tool!!

Tanners new thing is SPIKER color!! He loves it. We can add fun color to his "new hawk" That's what he calls his faux hawk. H changes colors everyday.. he has the choices between Red,blue,green. A day at the farm

Well the time has come that we are FINALLY moving!! I am soo excited!! This will be MINE! I have owned houses in the past but I was never allowed to decorate or paint them how I wanted to. Sean has given me full reign over the decorating. I love what our house has become!!

Parent Teacher

I went to parent teacher conference this past week, and I am happy to say I have 2 smart kids! Tanner is in ELP now. He is only 1 of 2 kids in the entire Kindergarten class to be doing this. It's a first grade class that he goes too for 2 hours a day. He also gets to start taking AR. he read his first whole book last night by himself. It was soo cute to listen to him sound out the words.
Rylle is doing good for all accounts. We are not liking his teacher and he is growing bored. She's not challenging him. For all that know him know that he's one that needs to be challenged. So we are working on getting him a new teacher!

Last night I was able to relive being 14! It was soo awesome!! I saw New Kids On The Block! They did a great show I was surprised. The funny thing was... just about everyone there was my age or OLDER!!! So it was funny to watch these chicks get all mushy and cry over someone they dug 15 years ago! I had soo much fun I didn't get home until after 1. I can say that it was the best thing ever. It's not very often that a girl gets to see her favorited boy band of all time!!!!

Well I must say today has been a day.. Sean has spent the past week stressing about doing the sacrament for the first time. I must say it was awesome to see him up there breaking the bread and setting such a great standard for the boys. It was soo awesome that Kelsea and Mitchell and by bff and sister from my previous life were there for the support. Than Tanner talked Sean into going up with him to bear his testimony. I almost cried listening to Sean. But the kicker is once Sean finished Tanner was like no I don't want to! he just knew Sean needed to do it!!
I can't say enough about what an awesome guy I got. I have never felt this way for anyone other than my kids.
I also want to thank Kelsea for becoming a BIG part in our family!! I don't think Michelle or I could EVER function without you!

Rylle pulled out his bridge the other night. It's been loose for a while, so I sent him to bed one night and I hear water running in their bathroom about 10 min later. So I went in to see if her was ok. I saw he was pulling it out. He's never pulled a tooth out by himself. I've always had to use a floss pick and I get it stuck under the loose tooth and pull it out for him. So he was brave enough to do this one on his own. he was so proud!! So the tooth fairy left him 5 bucks for the effort!!

Good news!! Sean and I are starting our adventures with foster to adopt. We have our first class on the 8th of Nov. We are so stoked. We have a piece missing in our lives and we are unfortunate to not be able to have kids together. So we are going to be giving an infant a home. We get to choose the age range that we want. We are going from newborn to 1 year!!! Keep looking back for more updates!!!

Hardest Thing To Do..

I had to do one of the hardest things today. I had to fire a girl that I really like. I've never had an issue firing someone in the past but the difference is that I really really liked this girl. I was told earlier in the week that I would have to fire someone, but they made it sound like it would be in the next few weeks. I got an email this morning telling me that I had to fire someone. I have had the worst day just knowing that I had to do this.

Ok I must say that my Tanner bud is the cutest thing in the world. He say's some of the cutest things. This morning we are driving to school and he's telling me how he loves Sean to Jesus. I was like wow Tanner that's lots of love. He responds " mom I love you to Jesus and that's more than to infinity and beyond and gogoplasmius." He than goes on to tell me who is to the "Jesus" level as he would call it. Ryan, Michelle, chuckles, Aubrey , Shelby, My grammas and pappas. I was like what about your dad? He goes : well when he's on my good side I can love him to Jesus" That was too funny and a great way to start the day!!

Horses Horses Horses.......

This past weekend Sean and I went to my boss's new cabin in Showlow. We got up early on Sat wondering what to do with our day. I suggested that we go ride horses, well needless to say it's been about 10+ years since Sean was on a horse. So we head out to Porter Mountain, and meet up with our guide. Now as we all know Sean is a big guy, so the guide gives Sean a bigger horse. I got a horse that had been used in roping events so he was easy to ride. Sean's horse wasn't so easy. The guide and I got a good laugh quite a few times as the horse would wonder off and stop dead on the trail. We were out for a little over an hour and we had so much fun. We are going to take the boys riding the next time we head up, but first I''m hoping that Kelasea can give the boys some riding tips.

I just got back from my day helping with Tanners class. I must say all those kids are a handful and Mrs Ide has the patience of Job!!! I love surprising tanner, he didn't remember that it was my day for a visit. His face lit up so bright and he stretched his arms out to me. It was all I could do to not think he used to do this when he wanted to spend the day on my hip! I miss those days!!! It was fun working on numbers with the kids, it amazes me as to how many kids can't count to 10. I feel so blessed knowing that I armed tanner with the tools that he needs just to make it to kindergarten!

I think that we've finally gone off of our rockers!! We had my sweet niece and nephew for the afternoon. So after a movie and lots of popcorn and soda, we decided to go to the park. Ok here's the deal... Sean and I went to Page this past weekend. He got a gig to shoot pics of the Best Western in Page. So we thought cool.. A chance to have a get away. So we make the 5 hour drive ( which by theway is really long after Flag) We get there.. Not a bad motel. We go inside, that should have told me everything!! It smelled weird just in the lobby alone. So we head down the hall to our room. We open the door and we are hit with the most NASTIEST smell. I can only describe it as a cross between pee and bo mixed with moldy mildewy smell!! anyways.. I had Sean take me to Walmart to buy some slippers because I wasn't about to touch the floor. I also took a shower standing on a wash cloth.. because I was afraid of what might just live in the shower.
